Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

On the topic of farms!
Didn't every kid, during the sixties,seventies and eighties, in the Wigan area hear, from one source or another, about a farm being under the water surface of Scotsman's Flash?

Probably, by the end of that long hot summer of '76, more than 50% of the population of Wigan had been down to Scotsman's Flash to see if the tale were true.
