Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

While we're on about Bamfurlong, does anybody remember Arthur Grundy, he worked at Plank Lane pit and used to do a Disco or summat at Jolly Jacks in the early 1980s.
Some of the young lads at the pit used to call him "the oldest swinger in town", that's when the term "swinger" meant something entirely different to todays meaning.
