Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

We used to get one or two bottles of corona pop- between 3 of us, till the man came around selling em again. Mi mam bought a bicycle on HP. I made mine myself from parts I found in the quarry. Christmas presents, don't be daft- never got any. Holidays- you having a laugh. We went to Southport once for the day. I thought Dick Roby was posh coz he went to Wales for a holiday. Mi dad used to get this newspaper from abroad. I used to look forward to it as it was really soft for the bog. If you told young folk this they'd think you were talking about the time during the war-ration books and all that. They don't know they're born
