Places (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)
Its also hard to tell people you spent your childhood makin clay shoes with the clay out of the quarry, lettin em bake hard then havin a "kickin shins" competition with your mates. the winner was the last one who's shoes ddnt fall to bits not the one with the most bruises . We also spent day's n day's diggin up a tree stump n found some baby rats, i took em home and kept em in a cage cos i thought they were mice hehe. Kid's are wrapped in cotton wool nowaday's. We ddnt even know what cotton wool was. I ddnt know what "get to your bedroom" was either cos ddnt have one of my own till i was 13 when my sis left home. We only bought News of the World for bog paper cos you could get a full weeks of squares out of one paper (well there was seven of us he )
