Its also hard to tell people you spent your childhood makin clay shoes with the clay out of the quarry, lettin em bake hard then havin a "kickin shins" competition with your mates. the winner was the last one who's shoes ddnt fall to bits not the one with the most bruises . We also spent day's n day's diggin up a tree stump n found some baby rats, i took em home and kept em in a cage cos i thought they were mice hehe. Kid's are wrapped in cotton wool nowaday's. We ddnt even know what cotton wool was. I ddnt know what "get to your bedroom" was either cos ddnt have one of my own till i was 13 when my sis left home. We only bought News of the World for bog paper cos you could get a full weeks of squares out of one paper (well there was seven of us he )
