Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Watcha H, When we lived there Phil Yates lived opposite us but 3 doors down to my left, or 2 doors from John White's.
Ronnie Dootson lived next door to John White. The Hamill's next to Ronnie. At the back on John White's and Ronnie's was where Vinny lived. Dick lived in the top right hand corner. So you didn't like Worsley Hall then H? Where Billy Kenny lived there was a large field. To the right was Pem school. We used to play football on it. Can't remember the name of the field. Anyway when you crossed it you came to another estate- was that Worsley Hall? It's been best part of 35 years so can't remember. There used to be a place near we called the White City. When you went back to the 'village'(ha ha) did you play polo or did you prefer fox hunting? What happened to Precious Blood church? Who did Dick end up marrying H? Kieron O'loughlin played at the same time or close to a guy named Jim Hornby who played for Wigan- on the wing I think. Had so many rugby battles with him as school boy. He nailed me every time. He played stand off then. Think I only scored once against him. He didn't really make the grade which surprised me.
