Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

One of the families that were evicted in Hawthorn were the Turners who lived next door to us at no.17 I remember their furniture piled up at the front. They had about 4 kids Keith,John,Janet and a baby. The dad Len had a bad temper and used to hit his wife Olive.I wonder what happened to them.
I think another family that were evicted were the Hobsons.
