Dougie: Yes, I had seen the school photos. In fact, I have also told his kids about them. i was quite touched by the comment under one of them that he had covered the 100 yards in 12,1 secs in his first year. In his final year, he had got that down to 10,3. I've been trying to find out if that record was ever broken, but nobody seems to know.
