Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

when I read your message about the temperance bar opposite the Post Office, I mistook it for one I thought I remembered near Malley's shoe shop which I know was in Wallgate near Miry Lane. I thought I remembered a temperance bar there, also a newsagents and possibly a dry cleaners-- but memory does play tricks! I grew up around Wallgate but unfortunately, like so much of Wigan, it's changed beyond all recognition.
