Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Whups the building was a row of garages plus about 6 or 7 detached garages some round the back of the others. Attached to the brick garages was a small brick unit which was equiped with the switches for the air raid siren which was positioned on a large telegraph pole at the back of this small building. between the garages and the large tree was a long building with double doors,I cannot remember it ever being used when I liver on Leyland Green Rd .
