Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

If you go to the first page and come down the fist two photos I uploaded shows Pig street (church Street) houses, the other is after they had been pulled down with the children playing on it, only this year could have seen the footing before they built that new house

Some one gave the photo's to my brother for me to copy, the bowling green had a 7 foot wall round it when I was a lad and still being used till into the 50s for bowling

P.S. Never knew that jack Prescott worked the allotment as a Prescott family live next door at number 1 Derek & Keith
