Been speaking with my mum about moving to the estate. Her Ward family moved into 9 Elm Ave on 2 Nov 1946. Next door at number 7 Myrtle Eckersley née Deluce (Cissie Harrison's sister) moved in, she had a son John. On the other side of them at number 11 was she thinks the Smith family who ran the garage at Bryn. Maybe Dougie or Bert can confirm.
