Downall Green was a lovely place to have grown up in.. Was a long time ago though, so the younger people mentioned, sadly because of their passing, I didn't know them..

Dougie, I don't know anyone named Chip.. We were at #5, Mrs and Sammy Prior at 7, Hodsons at 9, Hurst 11, Daley at 13, Dunn at 15, Thomas at 17. Woods at 19 ? ? ? Nurse Nuttall at 27, Griffiths at 29, Hiltons at 31, that's it for names.. I remember the other people, but not the names..
