Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Good evening all, I hope that you all had a Good Christmas. Unfortunately, I had a problem logging onto the WW site, as it had now gone to Number 9, possibly because I had not been in the best of health this year and I had not been on the site for such a long time. Glad to see that a lot of the old names are still around, and that you seem to have remembered to ask lots of interesting questions of them. Without asking questions, the history of Downall Green will be lost. My family are growing up fast, my youngest Daughter and family are now living in Canada, they are very much into skiing, today I heard that my Grand-daughter had lunch with the Canadian Prime Minister yesterday and then joined him for some skiing on the slopes. My other Daughter and her family are still living in Rochester and making a success of their lives. May I wish you all a Happy New Year, and hope that I do not leave it so long before I am in contact with you all again.
