Hello Evelyn, I would never have connected the name if you hadn't mentioned it. Jimmy looked in fine fettle last time I saw him at a game last season. I'll certainly mention your names to him. How did you get to know him? I thought Don spent most of his time at Parsonage? That Tonker is an idiot. He knows a little thing about allsorts and tries to tell people who know a lot more than him that they are wrong. I've had to put him right a couple of times on WW about mining subjects which he was spouting his half baked theories about. Anyway, I'll see you both in 3 weeks.

Quite a few years after I'd finished in the pits, late 1990's I think, I was working on a job near Prescot. One afternoon, the job finished early and I thought, I'll take a different way home.So I went and had a look at what was left at Sutton Manor, where I did about 12 months. I then carried on through Clock Face along Gorsey Lane where I knew Geoff lived.Sure enough, there he was up a ladder painting his downspout. I stopped for a chat. That was about 4 o clock. I left at 6.30!!!
