Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

After spending 20yrs working underground at Golborne it is sad that some of the people who now work on the enterprise park do not know there was a colliery on that site But this could be said about other colliery sites where men have worked and died. Our memories of the pits can only fade with time, we are all a dying breed and in a while there will only be a few memorials and history books to remind people that we where the King of coal
