However, two points. David Molymeux is not the council leader, he's the councillors leader. And, the decision to do so HAD TO BE taken by the 8 members of Wigan Council's Cabinet, as they had no choice in the matter.

It follows that the local elections are pointless. It matters not one iota who 'gets in', or their political persuasion.
