I am uncertain whether the new immigration laws as tts points out have been a complete success.
A problem recruiting workers on farms, in processing plants and abattoirs previously staffed by workers from the EU has been a major setback in the food industry.
And it is a continuous complaint that red tape is a drawback to transporting goods.
And the link tts provided shows that a hotel room and a fiver a day for food is not exactly luxury and living it up,when fish and chips is 6 quid these days!
