They ain't allowed to add artificial pigmenting agents to chicken feed.
Natural ones, no barrier.

So marigold petals added to get more yellow in the yolk and capsaicin (from sweet/Chilli peppers) to get more orange.

An egg farmer I once knew had produce that was widely sought and commanded a premium. He acquired meat waste which he put out for the blowflies. Periodically, a shaker violently agitated the mesh screen upon which they sat. The hens swarmed to eat the maggots which fell from the meat.

It really made the premises stink though.
