Eggsactly Tonker.
Those are Christian celebrations of the fact that we believe that Jesus was born, lived, died and rose from the dead. So it's hypocritical to celebrate something that you don't believe in. Jews, Muslims, Hindus and others do not celebrate these religious occasion as they don't believe in the Christian faith. But most others of different denominations do respect the Christian religion as we respect theirs.
I don't ask you to believe but please respect the fact that others do.
