I have looked on both my bank and building society advice pages. The building society will issue non contactless cards the bank (Santander) can disable contactless cards on line. I have done it, hope it works, I use this card very little,
p.s. had another look at Nationwide and can freeze or unfreeze cards at will. Both facilities are open to on line banking, don’t know about non online banking.
