Peterp if memory serves I think every so often, after a few transactions you have to put your card into the reader and put your pin in to confirm it's you using the card. Keep the telephone of the bank to hand and let them know as soon as possible that its lost or stolen, you will no doubt receive reimbursement of any fraudulent transactions.
