hi disco diva i joined friends.it was the main reason i got the computer.i found a cousin of my husband's that was a bridesmaid at our wedding.i had not seen her for about 38yrs.it was lovley and the reason we lost touch was because my husbads family cut her out of the family and so her also.now time has passed ,her mum is dead and she grew up not knowing some of her cousins.
i also found a girl i had worked with,we lost touch when she and her husband parted,i had phoned him and he told me he did'nt know where she was.she had not changed(apart from us both getting older) and we phone and email each other.sometimes jobs move people.i married and went to live in manchester then macclesfield.if you don't the person you find you can always lose touch again and for what it costs if you want to really find someone i think it's worth it.you need to put in the maiden names of girlfriends.try it and see how you go.
