Beautifully written dark horse.My mum was born in a street by the pier somewhere, she doesn't wear clogs anymore either hehehe.My nans family were bargees too, I think my great uncles piccy was put on some souvenirs a few years ago.
Makes me wonder why some wiganers stay if the place is supposed to be so bad. Personally I love it here, but I make the most of its best bits, I am taking my kids to mesnes park tomorrow,to rub the toe , just like I did as a kid.
