Tonker theres an estate in Platt Bridge with quite a few Liverpooooolers on, its called the welmar as in welmar homes, house prices in Liverpool used to be very high and some people could buy a brand new house in Ashton, Platt Bridge well anywhere in Wigan for a lot less than in Liverpool and only be a half hour drive from Liverpool so you can't say there ain't many scousers in Ashton because i used to work with some of them, also the guy who played Jack in Bread lived in Ashton, and i currently work with a very decent bloke from Dingle who lives in St. Helens and he's very proud of his roots, before you asked why he moved his wife is from St. Helens. Oh and don't recall anything bad being said about Wigan, you just called it crap.
