Could have been tonker.
"It was 17 years ago."
But as I remember at the time,I used to catch the Ashton bus from Wigan and get off at the last stop.
The Cross Keys was just across the road from the bus stop,my house backed on to a large graveyard,which was about 5 mins walk from the Cross Keys.
