Neverstill, yes people do only talk about what is interesting so Wigan must be a good topic of conversation.
Christi, no matter where you travel it is always good to come home.
I think George Formby was fond of Wigan but George Orwell did paint a bleak image of the town but at the time life was a lot tougher than today for people. I wish that he could come and look at the place now. Fair enough its not the poshest place in the world but it has improved and you cant beat a Wiganer for their sense of humour.
