At present Billy all seafood is in the high price range,lobster $60/kilo,king prawns $30-$40/kilo,scallops $35/kilo,even some fresh fish is in the the $30 range,it's a matter of supply and demand.Lots of the best stuff is exported and then of course there's the Indonesians raiding our fishing grounds.The tourists promos you see are aimed at the wealthy,the average battler like myself,an aged pensioner to boot, would be lucky to afford a couple of prawns never mind a lobster to throw on the barbie.It's funny you should mention Salty because that was my nickname before I left UK and it had nothing to with any connection to the sea.
