Oh I wasn't bothered about the snow melting, already had 3 months of snow on the ground...when I came home from the holiday in the UK on March 30th after two weeks away,the snow was all gone and it was heading for spring time.

But in this area the snow hasn't really disappeared until the end of April and into May, people start getting cabin fever up north here and hoping for spring!

Marquette Mountain had closed for the season but had to re-open again when we got the present snow..an instant 3feet/1metre take ya pick!LOL

The locals say there are only two seasons up here... winter and the 4th of July!!
