Well aitch,here in Oz we have lost three icons,legends,call them what you will,in quick succession.First it was Don Chipp,he founded a third force in Australian politics and coined the phrase "Keep the bastards honest",he was 81.Then Steve Irwin got himself killed doing what he enjoyed doing best and yesterday one Australia's best known car racing personalities lost his life when his car hit a tree,and he was 61.They say things come in threes but that may yet be proved wrong,anyway there has been a lot of outpouring of public grief,though how long it will last is anyone's guess as we are in the middle of football finals fever.
