The pot holes and grids are an issue for cyclists, no one wants to hug the kerb because the the kerbside is full of debri , plastic bottles , chip papers and broken up tarmac, This damage is not done by cyclist but, we are expected to , stay at the kerb side, If you do not keep the 1.5 metres away, its the car drivers who will get blame and rightly so, sat there in your shiney fortress of tin and shatter proof glass, All we have is an ultrathin covering of brightly coloured lycra
