GB you are entitled to your views and i respect that but, The Gov't are encouraging 'green' ways of travelling and cycling is as green as you can get, Its the most efficient means of transport, by imposing taxes, It will become less so, I don't think you have a snowballs chance in Hell GB,, As for insurance, Where would that go ?? if a cycle has to be insured then so will, childs bikes, prams, wheelchairs, dogs, pedestrians, horses, pigeons,

there will be no end to it,
