If I could have had electric prior to retiring, when my annual mileage exceeded 30,000, I guess the option would have been attractive.
But, that was more than two decades ago. (Models then available had too restricted range)
In retirement, my annual mileage has been but one or two thousand, and CONSIDERABLY less during Covid restrictions.
I cannot foresee any opportunity whereby savings in fuel cost would justify the capital outlay now. Do not know how many years of driving lie in front of me, but it can't be a very great number.
