Well it is inconceivable that we are the only life in the universe, but travel between the stars in a conventional sense is probably impossible, it would have to be done using wormholes, and such things, which we have no understanding of yet, and it has been proved that there is a link between time and relative velocity, as Einstein predicted, but we need 'eureka' moment from a scientist, who can move us on to the next level of the knowledge of physics
