It is now a waste of time shopping around for a better deal.

The other day, I contacted our energy supplier to get a quotation off them for my hadicapped daughter who lives at a different address.

I was told that unless we were willing to pay around a 400% increase, it was better to stay with her present supplier.

What the hell is going on when businesses are turning custom away in this way.

If you go on Uswitch and Go Compare, all you get told after giving detail of a usage, is a message saying that because of the present situation, they can no longer give any comparisons of tariffs.

Time that the muppets of all parties that sit in Parliament did something about the seriousness of the matter or is it that they are too busy feathering their own nests and holding parties to bother of how the hike in prices is affecting the ordinary people who keep voting for them.
