Well I missed that, because it wasn't widely reported, and the reason was that is was a motion to force the government introduce a bill, to reduce the VAT and introduce a windfall tax and the energy companies, if that had happened, and the government introduced such a bill, then that is the bill they would vote on to reduce the VAT, it was a trouble making parliamentary tactic, which opposition parties use, and if the Tories were in opposition, they would be doing the same thing, but it is a free country Fossil, and if you want to make a big ting about it, yoo and that Whupsy, can crow away to your hearts content, about it

But to repeat meself, Boris said that cutting the VAT would cut the electric bills of rich people, has well as the ordinary folk, and it is only 5% but folk on benefits need a damn site more than 5% off their bills, and if the rich folk pay the VAT, then that could help pay for the people on benefits to receive direct help to pay their energy bills, which to me makes more sense.
