I doubt that the Council case will stand up in court. She wasn't criticising the approved council policy of the redevelopment of the area in question. She was asking whether the choice of contractor was appropriate given the Chinese track record on human rights. From the highest levels of Government, the Civil Service and others there is serious concern that there is a growing encroachment by the Chinese into British business and the universities.
