"The trouble is, blue badges are not just for people with walking difficulties there for people who have a problem but its not physical so its causing arguments."

Yes and they should only be for people who have mobility problems. It is all about access and being able to park closer to your chosen destination is it not?

Blue badges are vital for the infirm and disabled. I am quite happy to be convinced otherwise if I am misinterpreting the reasoning behind a blue badge. Please tell me a condition which doesn't involve mobility problems where a blue badge would be essentiaL.

The road at the side of the Linacre centre used to be blue badge parking years ago and users would park there and walk into town as opposed to paying on the galleries. That is not about mobility and access it's about parking for free, in which case why can't I park for free? Now that road is paid parking so presumably they now park for free elsewhere or maybe they still park for free there and walk into town.

Either way it makes a mockery of those in genuine need.
