Pewfall. Read my post properly, I stated that I have experience with ex service people who are homeless and alcohol and drug dependent, I know from Tom's posts that he is an alcoholic, I never suggested he took drugs only alcohol. Now I know that an alcoholic on a scooter is not a good idea is it? Giving an alcoholic a tin of beer (weak or not) is also not a good idea, he's worth more than that, as for the compo sausages they were in the military 4 and 10 man ration packs he may remember and with this guy living rough the lard would hardly do as much harm then the alcohol he consumes, I doubt he has much body fat.
