Mick, I think you need to know that before all this coronavirus started, I was a germophobe and still are, and I do wash my hands a lot.
From what I have read, the virus can be spread by air born water droplets and sneezes, but by far the easiest way to catch it is by touch contamination.
When you’re in the supermarket you are touching surfaces which have been touched by literally thousands of people of which admittedly a small number, will be contaminated, so if you make contact with your eyes, nose or mouth with dirty hands, there is a good chance of being infected.
I am 73 with a heart condition and I don’t think I would survive getting the bug
I think my germophobic paranoia is justified !!!!!!! LOL
