TTS., said, laaaaike, "Speed wise it is a bloody fast road, and it is hard to keep your speed down on it, so the police are going to have a wail of siren time on there, with the old speed guns "

Well, coincidentally, on my way to Westhoughton yesterday morning and travelling up Bolton Road towards Bamfurlong, with Bryn Hall Hotel on my right, in front of me at the Bryn Gates Lane junction was about twelve police officers, luminous green coats on, having lessons on how to use a hand held speed camera!

I said to myself, "you're going to have to watch out, because they'll be out in force in the coming weeks".

And so it came to pass. This morning, going along Warrington Road, through Platt Bridge, there he was, right in front of me, stood on the refuge in the middle of the road outside Iceland, camera aimed towards the post office opposite the Millercare shop.

Bastardos. Be extra aware. They walk amongst us!
