I know you'll say, "but I was born in Wigan"! But you weren't really.
Anyway, how come, anybody who is from Wigan, who moves away, remains a Wiganer. But anybody born and raised elsewhere, who then moves to somewhere under Wigan council, becomes a 'Wiganer'?

Nothing is logical about Wigan.
