Speaking of the M6 junction 27, they've put traffic lights in the middle of the island.
Last week, I turned off the M6 there, heading north, and nearly ran up the arse of a car parked in the middle of the roundabout because the lights were on red. I couldn't see the standing traffic due to the grass on the roundabout being overgrown, to the extent that it's hanging over the road.

The idea of a roundabout is to avoid installing traffic lights. Why do they put traffic lights on roundabouts?

Why dothey put traffic lights at the entry to a motorway? Now that's stupid!
