You took a while to join in S/D, it doesn't matter how many miles you cover it's just the enjoyment of being out there..the freedom and at peace with the yourself, maybe not with thi missus but for a short while all is well and the world it's a lovely place to be.
Every year I do the Welsh National Rally and at the end of a very very long day with more than 390 miles under mi belt that's more than enough for me; it's off to a b+b and another 120 miles home in the morning.
eEven that is nothing to the 'Iron Butt' brigade with a thousand miles done in 24 hours.!
