A couple of days ago I recorded a tv program called They shall not grow old and I have just watched it. It is a documentary about WW1 and it is fantastic , the black and white film has been remastered in colour with some never seen before footage at one point I thought it was a modern enactment but its not its original. Some of it is gory but it shows with realism the madness of war. Fascinating.
