Her role as MP is to act in a way in what she perceives as the best interests of her electorate. This may not neccesarily what the majority of the electorate actually want and she has no mandate or indeed obligation to go with the majority.

She, in her capacity as MP believes the best option for us is to remain and that's the avenue she went down.

If you don't like her take on it there is no sense in bleating about it like a kid with a full nappy. Do what the grown ups do and just don't vote for her or her party next time around. It's how a democratic parliamentary system like ours works.
