amazing meaning, causing great surprise or wonder,astonishing.

well that fool of a tutor obviously was amazing.
personally i was surprised he ? was still in a job.
i wondered how the hell some fool who interviewed him took him on board.
the astonishment i had watching him prance about the stage,made me think he was a suitable case for treatment,possibly at the hands of one or more of his unfortunate pupils parents.
