I think yoo are behind the times, the contract was put back out to tender in April, with a start date of October this year and it is the government who as delayed things, because of the devalootion process.

For whatever reason galliford-try and Wigan Council parted company, today I noticed that Bethell Construction have started to build the first part of the project, which is section two compound and access to the Smithy Brook bridge site, next job is temporary bridge over Smithy Brook, so machines can get to tuther side of Smithy Brook
