Trying to track a record the 1851 census brings up the above ? whats Nitnoersamd any ideas?
Also any info on Hindley work house 1851?

It could, possibly, refer to the occupation of a female member of your family. She could've been the local 'nit-nurse', but couldn't spell very well. Probably?

No - this was down as the location address- not people or there occupation - with several different women living there.
