Horse Racing in Wigan

Never knew that Wigan had a race course. Found this while trawling the net. Springfield park the venue. any one know the history behind it

I always knew the chippy at Springfeild park as the dog track, its still there but its a chinese now

the chippy you are on about jack is the stadium chippy, it's not at springfield park
