Station Rd Central Hall Primitive Methodist Church
I am looking for the history and photographs of Station Road Wigan Central Hall Primitive Methodist Chapel, for a history project, can anyone help? saronie@blueyonder.co.uk

I remember a little chapel at the bottom of stairgate in station rd it was on the left hand side of stairgate on corner it was facing bus office porta cabins when I worked on buses

As Whatchalot says Wasnt there another smaller Chapel oon the left hand side of Stairgate. ?

There was Christchurch at the top opposite & just down from Penningtons. Used to house the Sea Cadets (including me) ;o)

The Elim Pentecostal church held their meetings in that building before moving to new premises on Greenhough Street when it was demolished, according to the postings on the link below the Methodist church was lower down.
